Abstract
Nanocomposites (NCs) , a type of advanced material consisting of nanoscale
newlinefillers dispersed within a matrix, have attracted considerable interest in recent years due
newlineto their enhanced mechanical, thermal, electrical, and barrier properties over traditional
newlinecomposites. However, new characteristics of NCs continue to be reported on a daily basis.
newlineA comfortable life depends largely on the environment and energy, which are essential
newlinefor all living beings across the globe. However, rapid industrialization, mining, industrial
newlinewaste, pesticides, and other factors have severely polluted our environment, particularly
newlineleading to significant water contamination. Despite advancements in technology, bacterial
newlineinfections remain a serious threat to human life, emphasizing the continuous proliferation
newlineof harmful bacteria in the modern, techno- advanced globe. The rapid rise in water
newlinepollution, caused by the discharge of hazardous pollutants into water bodies, along with
newlinethe increasing demand for energy, is becoming an alarming issue, endangering all forms
newlineof aquatic as well for human ecosystem. NC can be synthesized using various techniques
newlineas hydrothermal, sol-gel, mechanical milling, microwave, co-precipitation technique
newlinetailored to achieve specific properties and functional requirements. In the above
newlinetechniques, energy becomes a crucial role in the synthesis of NC. However, the
newlinemechanochemical manual grinding method offers an energy-efficient alternative for
newlinenanocomposite fabrication. Fabrication of NC through solid-state methods and doping
newlinewith nanoparticles (NPs) as green functional agents represents a sustainable approach to
newlineaddressing environmental challenges. Furthermore, the synergistic effect enhances their
newlineversatility in facilitating organic conversion reactions
