Since then the newlineintellectuals of world realise the problem of population. newlineA rapid population growth rate is like a curse for a developing economy because it newlinecreates a pressure on the existing resources of the economy. quotHuman beings are both newlineends and means for economic activities, when, in right numbers, they are an asset, but newlinenot so, in fact liability, if number is beyond capacity of the economy. The high growth newlinerate of population is affected by many socio demographic and economic variables, the newlineage at marriage and spacing of first birth among women i.e. since their marriage to first newlinelive birth is one of those factors. newlineDemographic variables play an important role in doing demographic planning of a newlinecountry or a state.
