Role of family and school environment in the growth and development of children with learning disability

Abstract

The study examined the role of family and school environments in the growth and development of children with learning disabilities using a descriptive survey of 50 children, their parents and teachers. Data analyzed newlinethrough percentages, correlation, and regression revealed that both environments significantly influenced children s development. Positive correlations were found between family environment and growth (as perceived by parents) and between school environment and growth (as perceived by teachers), while cross-perceptions showed negative correlations. Overall, the family and school environments have a significant impact on children s growth and development. newline newline
