Abstract
The study examined the role of family and school environments in the growth and development of children with learning disabilities using a descriptive survey of 50 children, their parents and teachers. Data analyzed
newlinethrough percentages, correlation, and regression revealed that both environments significantly influenced children s development. Positive correlations were found between family environment and growth (as perceived by parents) and between school environment and growth (as perceived by teachers), while cross-perceptions showed negative correlations. Overall, the family and school environments have a significant impact on children s growth and development.
