ABSTRACT
newlineThe study of Indian banking sector occupies an important lace in development of economy in India, and it is related to close and critical study of various measures observed in the operation of business and management organization. The present study described three types of analytical aspects of performance of Indian banking sector i.e., Productivity, profitability and financial efficiency.
newlineBanking sector reforms in India, strive to increase profitability, productivity and efficiency of the banking institutions. The existing banking institution have to face the global competitions. As a consequence, there has not only been rapid expansion in the number of banking intuitions in the country, but the baking horizon of the country has also changed significantly with the entry of new private sector and public sector banks. nowadays the country has public and private sector are operating in India and giving throat completion to each other. The study emphasis on comparative analysis of financial performance using CAMEL model with reference to two public and private sector banks.
