| dc.description.abstract | newlineSoftware companies operate in a highly dynamic and competitive environment, newlinenecessitating a workforce that is not only technically proficient but also highly engaged newlineand committed. Research indicates that OCB can significantly enhance organizational newlineperformance by fostering a cooperative and supportive work culture, improving team newlinedynamics, and increasing overall productivity (Podsakoff et al., 2000). Furthermore, newlineunderstanding the drivers and outcomes of OCB in the software industry can aid in newlinedeveloping targeted strategies to boost employee morale and job satisfaction, thereby newlinereducing turnover rates (Morrison, 1996). Given the rapid evolution of technology and newlinethe crucial role of human capital in driving innovation, it is imperative for software newlinecompanies to cultivate behaviors that contribute to organizational success. This newlineresearch aims to bridge the gap by providing empirical evidence on the relationship newlinebetween OCB and employee outcomes in software companies, thus offering actionable newlineinsights for management practices and policy formulation (Farh et al., 1997). | |
