A novel pulse shaping methodology is proposed to provide an exceptionality for UWB newlinecommunication to use it with its full functionality. UWB technology is a congruent newlinechallenger for the physical layer of the future high-speed wireless networks to fulfil newlinethe appetency of the new era of data prerequisite capacity. newlineThis huge bandwidth can coincide with bandpass signaling to overwhelmed the extra newlinefinancial burden to separate this huge bandwidth from other practical spectra. This newlinetype of co-existence of the two different nature of signalling makes interference among newlineall the co-band signalling. To overcome this interference issue, several supervisory newlinebodies are functioning on power emission control of this communication, i.e. the newlinepower spectral density (PSD) of the UWB signal is regulated under the supervision of newlineregulatory bodies. The first regulatory body that has to commercialize UWB is the newlineFederal Communication Commission (FCC). Medical imaging to location newlinemeasurement, UWB has a wide variation support for diversity of applications. newlineThe extinguishing of interference is mandatory to govern the level of interference. newlineThere are many existing methodologies to control this interference. The most newlineimportant is the pulse shape optimization in such a manner that there should be an newlineoverall performance improvement of the system. With the consideration of this fact, a newlinepulse shape optimization methodology has been anticipated to overcome this problem newlineof interference and fits into the spectral mask properly as well as it provides other newlinebenefits related to system overall performance up to the antenna end. The proposed newlinepulse shaping is able to provide the best fitments of emission level and performance newlineimprovement in the overall communication system in various channel conditions with newlinethe multi-user environment. The first section of the thesis delivers a brief portrayal of newlineUWB communication and its pros with assertions. The persistence of the thesis has newlinebeen also addressed. This section covers all the standard explanatio
