Elliptic Curve Digital Signature Technique Based Abnormal Node Detection in Wireless AD HOC Networks

Abstract

Wireless Ad hoc Network WANET is a dynamic and self configuring network collected of mobile wireless nodes that are joint and intelligent; that forms a provisional network lacking a supervisor. Wireless nodes observe and gather data from surroundings and forward such data to the receiver. The wireless nodes have restricted access to resources and move from one place to another. However, the major constraint in WANET is security and routing process. In addition, this approach cannot select an optimal forwarder in WANET. To solve these issues, Improving Adversaries Detection and Efficient Relay Selection in WANET is introduced. newlineThe major intention of this research is to improve adversary detection and select the best relay among wireless nodes. Two methods were proposed correspondingly. Elliptic Curve Digital Signature technique ECDST based on Abnormal Node Detection in WANET and Fake Clones for Adversaries Detection FCAD with efficient relay selection in WANET. newline Firstly, the ECDST strategy is introduced to Elliptic Curve Digital Signature technique is applied to recognizes an abnormal node and isolates it from the route. It reaches reliability in routing by disabling the link with the utmost weight and validating the nodes. newline Finally, the FCAD approach is introduced to Fake Clones for Adversaries Detection with Efficient Relay Selection. The FCAD approach is used to defend the normal nodes from the adversaries in WANET. newline A comparative analysis of the ECDST, and FCAD proposed strategies are simulated and analyzed. Network simulation tool uses various scenarios Network Size and Node Mobility for comparison against baseline strategies. There is a lot of scope for research with the increasing usage of WANET and in future real world scenarios are also suggested for implementation newline newline
