Abstract

The rise of work, during the worldwide health crisis has generated considerable discussion and curiosity about how it affects company performance. This study investigates work, with an emphasis on how it is put into practice and its effects in the Information Technology (IT) Industry in Karnataka, India. By using a combination of research methods such, as surveys, interviews and case studies this study explores how employees and managers view the implementation of working from home (WFH) policies. The research delves into aspects of working from home looking at how it impacts productivity, employee involvement, job contentment and company culture. It also explores the hurdles and advantages linked to work integration taking into account elements, like setup, communication efficiency and maintaining a healthy work life balance. Through analyzing information gathered from a group of IT firms, (Infosys, Wipro, TCS and Oracle financial services software) in Karnataka the study seeks to offer an understanding of how working from home influences organizational success. The results of this study add to the body of knowledge by providing empirical support and useful advice for businesses preparing to implement work from home. It is envisaged that the research findings will influence organizational strategies, policies, and practices that maximize the advantages of working work from homely while mitigating any drawbacks. In the end, this thesis aims to promote knowledge of the changing dynamics of work arrangements in the IT industry and help make well-Informed decisions to improve organizational effectiveness when working work from home. newline
