Abstract
This research, combining empirical and non-empirical methods, highlights the invisible victim s rights and comprehensive analysis of condition, protection, and realization of human rights of children living with their imprisoned mothers. The study also examines present statutory safeguards, judicial precedents, and international conventions alongside field-based observations to assess socio-legal challenges faced by such children in jails of Haryana. All hypotheses were confirmed. The research reveals that neither laws relating to protection of these forgotten children are adequate nor implementation of existing laws is satisfactory. So more laws should be enacted to protect the rights of this vulnerable group and there should be proper mechanism to implement these laws.
