Innovative Method for Labeling Various Graphs Under Fuzzy Environment

Abstract

Graph labeling is a vital aspect of graph theory which involves assigning labels to vertices, newlineedges, or both, of a graph based on certain conditions. Graph labeling concept has various newlineapplications in networking, security system, satellite communication, etc. The fuzzy set theory newlineextends the classical set theory to handle uncertainty and partial membership. Lotfi Zadeh newlinedeveloped fuzzy set theory in 1960s to represent and analyze data that is inherently uncertain. newlineAccordingly, ambiguity and vagueness are inevitable in formulating real-world problems newlineand performing computations. As a result, the issues cannot be resolved using conventional newlinemathematical methods but require alternative approaches to address and overcome these newlinechallenges. newlineFuzzy graph labeling expands graph labeling concept by incorporating fuzzy set theory, newlineproviding a more nuanced and flexible representation of relationships within the graph. newlineThe study begins with a comprehensive review of classical graph labeling and fuzzy set newlinetheory, establishing a foundation for understanding fuzzy graph labeling s significance. It then newlinedelves into the development of novel fuzzy labeling techniques, analyzing their properties newlineand potential for solving complex real-world problems where uncertainty and vagueness are newlineinherent. This thesis explores the theory and applications of fuzzy graph labeling, presenting newlinenew methodologies and algorithms for efficient labeling processes newline
