| dc.description.abstract | newlineCloud computing is the latest evolution in the distributed computing paradigm and delivers on-demand services offered as Infrastructure, Platform, or Software as a service. To achieve this, the major challenges confronting the cloud service providers in the cloud framework are efficient management (provisioning and scheduling) and the placement of resources. As per the need of the applications, the resources are scaled up and down dynamically representing the elastic model of cloud computing. To resolve the QoS based autonomic resource management issue in the cloud, a resource management algorithm namely the Social Spider Resource Management Algorithm (SSRMA) based on the foraging behavior of social spider, has been proposed and evaluated in this research work. Initially, the requirement of the tasks given by the cloud client is evaluated. Therefore, the proposed cloud orchestrated framework confronts the challenge of QoS based autonomic resource management and placement technique along with its monitoring to avoid QoS/SLA violation. newline newline | |
