Enhancing the quality of service using interlaced link routing and cooperative data communication in mobile adhoc network

Abstract

Mobile Ad-hoc NETwork (MANET) is a kind of ad hoc network which is created by a group of self-governing wireless mobile nodes. The main purpose of MANET is to share the information to the destination node effectively and securely with its limited resources. In MANET, each mobile node acts as sender and receiver through the bidirectional wireless connections without any fixed network infrastructure. Also, the mobile nodes are moved independently to perform some networking tasks. MANET is a decentralized network that changes locations and constructs the network to carry out continuous transmission between the mobile nodes. Because of this mobility and scalability characteristics, it is used in several applications that are military battlefield, business environments, humanitarian aid and emergency rescue operations. Therefore, some of the novel networking approaches are introduced to improve the performance of data transmission based on the infrastructure less and dynamic characteristic of the network. Quality of Service (QoS) is the performance level of a service offered by the network to the user. The goal of QoS provisioning is to achieve a more deterministic network behavior, so that information carried by the newlinenetwork can be better delivered and network resources can be better utilized. Interlaced link routing is carried out to achieve QoS aware routing in MANET. Interlaced link routing is the process of joining different nodes together to make an efficient routing in the network. newline newline newline
