Abstract

GST is the biggest indirect tax reformadopted in India with effect from 01.07.2017. Since, GST is comparatively new in India, thus, there is a need to analyze the provisions of VAT of other countries which have successfully implemented the said law and developed solutions for various contagious issues. The present research work is a comparative study of VAT regimes of UK, Malaysia and UAE to carve out some beneficial approaches which should be adopted in India for better implementation and administration of GST. newline
