Ecofeminism in the Select Novels of Toni Morrison

Abstract

It is supposed that human beings are the God gifted creations of the universe in which many more creations are also found. There is a reciprocal or mutual relationship among these creations which has been explored and defined variously in the different sense and sensibilities. Such sensibilities of these creations and co-relations among them can be recognized and categorized into the ecological studies of the relations between those different species which are known in the various terms and terminologies. The concept of ecofeminism is one of them which are studied with its multi discourses and dimensions. Ecofeminism is studied in the growth of ecological relations of the women and the environmental changing, happenings and miss happenings all over the world. The present thesis, entitled as, quotEcofeminism in the Select Novels of Toni Morrisonquot intends to explore the ecofeminine concepts, dimensions and implications of Toni Morrison in her fictional as well as non fictional works. newline
