Abstract
Globalization has paved the way for the change in the systems and techniques of the organization. The inclusion of technology has also played a big role in changing the work culture. However, the hotel industry is service centric and therefore dependent on its human capital. Talent management plays a key role in this industry. Talent management refers to one of the human resource strategies that is concerned with identifying, developing, deploying and retaining talented and high potential employees in the organization. However, there is a shortage of skilled people in the market and hence the key remains of not only attracting but retaining those within the organization. For this purpose, there is a need of focusing stress on the talent management practices.
