Abstract
The objective of the present work is to focus on the synthesis and isolation of bioactive compounds and evaluation of their biological activities Naturally occurring bioactive compounds are isolated from animals plants
newlineculture filtrates and marine sponges They function as hormones enzyme
newlineinhibitors growth promoters neurotransmitters and immunomodulators etc
newlineNaturally isolated cyclic heptapeptide Euryjanicin A Talaromin A
newlineand B were evaluated screened for their molecular docking analysis using
newlineSchrodinger tool The designed cyclic heptapeptides exhibited good docking
newlinescore towards target protein for HeLa cancer cell line Based on the docking
newlinescore cyclic heptapeptides were synthesized and characterized by FTIR 1H
newlineNMR 13C NMR and Mass spectral analysis Further the compounds were
newlineanalyzed for their antioxidant and anticancer activities The results of the
newlinepresent study indicate that Euryjanicin A Talaromin A and B showed potent
newlineantioxidant and anticancer activities against HeLa cancer cell lines
newlineAchyranthes aspera L Amaranthaceae has long been used in
newlinedifferent systems of medicine in the treatment of cancer leprosy asthma
newlinefistula piles arthritis wound insect and snake bite dandruff hepatitis renal
newlinedisorders dermatological disorders gynaecological disorders gonorrhea
newlinemalaria fever cough diabetes pyorrhea dysentery opthalmia rabies
newlinehysteria toothache etc Achyranthes aspera Linn showed various
newlinepharmalogical activities like antimicrobial larvicidal antifertility immunostimulant
newlinehypoglycemic hypolipidemic anti inflammatory antioxidant
newlinediuretic cardiac stimulant antihypertensive anti anasacra analgesic
newlineantipyretic antinoiceptive prothyrodic antispasmodic and hepatoprotective
