Abstract
newline A robust education system expands opportunities, improves health, and strengthens community resilience all while fuelling economic growth in ways that reinforce and accelerate these processes. Thus, Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) has become an essential aspect of many countries. Eco-Pedagogy, on the other hand, is a new type of scientific investigation into how we may best construct a more equitable, environmentally friendly, and peacefully sustained civilization. The investigation focused on the Conception and Perception of Education for Sustainable Development and Eco-Pedagogy of Prospective Teachers and thereby define it. The aim of the work was to understand the influence of Gender, Stream and Interaction on Education for Sustainable Development and Eco-Pedagogy on Prospective Teachers. The objective was to study the influence of Gender, Stream and Interaction on Conception and Perception of Education for Sustainable Development and Eco-Pedagogy and the attitude towards Education for Sustainable Development. The investigator employed descriptive survey Method for the study and B.Ed. and D.El.Ed. Pupil-Teachers of Madhya Pradesh comprised the population and Bhopal Division was selected randomly, for the study. The data were collected over a period of six months from 300 selected randomly B.Ed. and D.El.Ed. colleges of Narmadapuram Raisen, Sehore and Vidisha. Data was collected with the help of self-made tools prepared by the investigator. Data were analysed using Mean, S.D. and ANOVA.
