alkali halide mixed crystals have created considerable interest and curiosity newlineamong several investigators alkali halide polycrystalline materials have also been found newlineto be interesting and important especially for use as components for optical devices with newlinean interest to discover new useful materials for the first time pure and zns doped naxk1 newlinexcl crystals for various values of x were grown by slow evaporation method and newlinecharacterized the end member crystals were also grown for comparison purposes a newlinetotal of fourteen crystals were grown and characterized in the present study newline newline
