As the energy demand rises, the fossil fuel consumption also increases, causing the newlinegreenhouse gases emission and results for global warming. To prevail these concerns, newlineboosting the usage of renewable energy becomes necessary. Solar, wind, fuel cells, and newlinebiomass are distinct sources of renewable energy. Among these, solar energy attracts more newlinedue to its easy installation, noise and pollution free, clean production, globally accessible and newlinegenerates the minimal carbon footprint. Solar photovoltaic (PV) power generation are newlinewidely categorised into two groups, which are standalone and grid integrated systems. In newlinestandalone configuration, a PV system can supply a wide variety of demands, including newlinewater pumping, boiling water, and powering solar lights in the remote areas without newlineconnection to the grid. The grid integrated system is a highly suitable choice in the regions characterised by ample spatial availability and periods of uninterrupted solar power. newline
