Novel earliest deadline first scheduling models for resource allocation in cloud computing

Abstract

This thesis deals with multi stage scheduling for resource allocation in cloud newlinecomputing with Earliest Deadline First Scheduling with new deadline calculation and newlineobtained better performance evaluation metrics. The models developed in this thesis can newlinealso be further extended with different sizes of Virtual machines by considering Context newlineSwitching times in between the virtual machines. we can define a heuristic method to newlinereduce the time taken for context switching and we can apply a few new heuristic newlinemethods to the fixed priority based algorithms and dynamic priority based algorithms to newlinedefine hybrid algorithms on preemptive mode. newline
