dc.description.abstractnewline Scientific utilization of dumped Municipal Solid Waste is a burning problem and newlinechallenging issue to the scientific community all over the world. The proposed study newlineprovides a cost-effective and green technique for the management and utilization of newlineMSW as a nutrient elevator for the soil of agricultural land. Proposed endeavors are newlineplanned in three steps. Selection of dumpsites, collection, processing, and storage of newlineMSW is planned for the first step. The second step is planned for the determination of newlinephysical parameters, chemical parameters, instrumental and statistical analysis to newlinecheck the quality and potentiality of MSW. Applicability of the MSW as soil booster newlineis done in the third step through germination and growth parameters of seeds of newlinemonocotyledon and dicotyledon. newlinePotiya and Kundrapara municipal waste dumpsites are selected for the present newlineinvestigation. Percentage of moisture, color, temperature, pH, water holding capacity, newlinespecific gravity, liquid limit, electrical conductivity, salinity, total organic carbon are newlinedetermined as physical parameters. Under chemical parameters, micronutrients newlineCopper, Zinc, Manganese, Iron, and macronutrients Nitrogen, Phosphorus, Potassium, newlineCalcium, and Magnesium are determined. FTIR (Fourier Transform Infrared newlinespectrophotometer) as well as GC-MS (Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometer) of newlineMSW, confirms the presence of plant nutrient humic acid in MSW. The scanning newlineelectron micrograph (SEM) established the porous texture of MSW. Statistical newlineanalysis was performed by software (SPSS-20) Anova two-way methods. Aqueous newlineextracts of MSW concentration ranges 5%, 10%, 15%, 20%, 25%, 30%, 35 % and newline40% were prepared and irrigated regularly. Seedling growth was observed and newlinecompared in 24, 48, 72, and 96 hrs. Germination and growth parameters have newlinevalidated the percentage of germination, percentage of relative seed germination (RSG newline%), percentage of relative root growth (RRG %), percentage of germination index (GI newline%), VI (vigor index), radical an
