An analytical study of physical psychological and support structure of elite indian international para throwers

Abstract

Objective: newlineThe principal purpose of the study was to prepare an Analytical study of the newlinePhysical, Psychological, and Support Structure of Elite Indian International Para newlineThrowers. newlineProcedure: newlineTo achieve the aim of the research study twenty-nine Elite Indian Para-thrower newlineplayers(Paralympian Standing, Non- Paralympian Standing, Paralympian Seated, and newlineNon- Paralympian Seated) of age ranging from 20-40 years, with event categories newline(javelin, shot put and discus throwers), whose level of achievement was national newlineposition holders and who had international participation in a minimum of two major newlinecompetitions were selected for the study. For the said project the data would be newlinecollected by the researcher personally with permission of the various academies like, newlinesports authority of India, athlete, coaches, and support staff of athletes during the time newlineof the coaching camps for the collection of data. Prior to the administration of the test newlinethe investigator had a meeting with the concerned India coaches and players. Before newlineadministrating the study the scholar had briefed to the subjects about the purpose of newlinethe research and then the protocol of administrating of the test was followed and to newlinecollect demographic Profile information Performa were filled up like age, gender and newlinelevel of participation has been received. The scholar had explained the meaning of all newlinethe statements for better understanding and then adequate time had been given to all newlinethe subjects to give their response. Any statement which was not much clear to subjects newlinehas been further clarified by the researcher herself. Before collecting the questionnaires newlinefrom all the subjects they were assured that their responses will be kept confidential. It newlinewill be use only for research purpose and not for any other work.
