Abstract
Non Linear Optical materials play an important role in the field
newlineof telecommunication optical switching and optical processing In recent
newlineyears several studies dealing with organic inorganic and semiorganic
newlinemolecules and materials called nonlinear optics NLO are being reported
newlinedue to the increasing need for cheap and easily processable materials for
newlinephotonics applications The nonlinear responses induced in various
newlinemolecules in solution and solids are great interest in many field of
newlineresearch Organic materials possess good optical transmission
newlinecharacteristics ultrafast non linear response and high optical damage
newlinethreshold they attracted chemists and material scientists But organic
newlinematerials are soft in nature due to weak vander walls and hydrogen bonds
newlinewith conjugated and#960; electrons by which these materials are constituted
newlineThiourea molecules are an interesting inorganic matrix modifier
newlinedue to its large dipole moment and its ability to form an extensive network
newlineof hydrogen bonds Single crystals of thiourea based some organic
newlinethiourea crystals from aqueous sulphuric and nitric acid and semi organic
