Abstract
The world has become small due to globalization and technological advances has resulted in cross border travel between countries. People with diverse background are seeking services in hotels to take care of their cultural traits. Based on their actual experiences customers rate the hotels on the web for everyone to see. Good customer feedback help hotel industry in their growth, while any negative remark will mean loss of potential customer. Hotel employees need to understand the cultural needs of customers and service them accordingly. India itself is a culturally diverse country with different religion, cast, creed, languages etc. To understand these and bond together needs tremendous cultural knowledge or intelligence besides ensuring a good customer service index. Employees working together with diverse culture may result in conflicts affecting performance. Good leadership play an effective role in solving these issues effectively. A well-trained manager in cross culture will resolve these issues on time and productivity. They ensure a good working environment and working culture for facing any situation. When people with different culture work together, new ideas emerge that help business grow and profitable. They are known by the company s culture that differentiate distinctively from others. Such a culturally strong organization perform better in hotels with a high productivity. Such well-trained organizations perform well in international business and their employees can be found in many countries. The main objectives of the research is to study the cultural adaptability, employees efficiency level of adaptation, impact of cross cultural training employees productivity in dealing with guest and its impact on property growth The research is done by using secondary information from various authors and primary information in the form of surveys, interviews and discussion with prominent people of the industry. Both quantitative and qualitative methods are used to derive results in this research.
