Abstract

The present investigation was carried out at Instructional Students Farm of C.S.A.U.A. and T. Kanpur (U.P.) during two consecutive Rabi of 2018-19 and 2019-2020. Three level of each phosphorus (0, 60, 90 kg ha-1), boron (0, 1, 2 kg ha-1) with and without rhizobium inoculation. There are eighteen treatments combination were tested with three replication the crop chickpea variety udai was taken as test cropduring both the years. newlineResults of the experimental field showed that growth characters like plant height, number of branch plant-1, number of nudules plant-1 and dry weight of nodules plant-1 were noted 63.30 cm, 17.22 plant-1, 26.15 plant-1 and 191.07 mg with the treatment T14(P1B1Rh1) in second year and yield attributes like number of pod plant-1, number of grains pods-1, 100 grain weight in gm., harvest index significantly increased were noted 66.40, 1.71, 19.97 and 43.10 with the use of 60 kg P2O5 and 1 kg B ha-1 With rhizobium.Interaction of phosphorus and boron futher increased growth characters and yield attributes compare to their respective alone use. Inoculation of rhizobium significantly increased growth and yield attributes in comparision to uninoculated treatments.
