Role of Biofertilizers and Growth Regulators on Indian Mustard Brassica juncea L

Abstract

newlineResearchers from Sam Higginbottom University of Agriculture Technology and Sciences newlineconducted a field study in Praygraj, Uttar Pradesh, for two Rabi seasons in 2019 and 2020 to newlinesee how biofertilizers and growth regulators affect Indian mustard. Azotobacter + water spray, Azotobacter + Gibberellic acid at 50 ppm, newlineAzotobacter + Salicyclic acid at 100 ppm, Azotobacter + Indole Acetic acid at 50 ppm, PSB + newlineAzotobacter + water spray, PSB + Azotobacter + Gibberellic acid at 50 ppm, PSB + newlineAzotobacter + Salicyclic acid at 100 ppm, PSB + Azotobacter + Indole Acetic acid at 50 ppm, newlineVAM + Azotobacter + water spray, VAM + Azotobacter + Gibberellic acid at 50 ppm, newlineVAM + Azotobacter + Salicyclic acid at 100 ppm, VAM + Azotobacter + Indole Acetic acid newlineat 50 ppm, PSB + VAM + Azotobacter + water spray, PSB + VAM + Azotobacter + newlineGibberellic acid at 50 ppm, PSB + VAM + Azotobacter + salicyclic acid at 100 ppm and PSB newline+ VAM + Azotobacter + Indole Acetic acid at 50 ppm laid down in Split Plot Design newlinereplicated thrice. The best treatment for yield attributes for seed yield recording 1.943 t/ha, newline2.034 t/ha and 1.988 t/ha, stover yield recording 6.747 t/ha, 6.964 t/ha and 6.855 t/ha and newlineharvest index recording 22.31, 22.56 and 22.44 in both the consecutive years and in pooled newlinebased analysis also, amongst the biofertilizers, results revealed significant and maximum in newlineboth the years are observed in seed inoculated with of PSB + VAM + Azotobacter, similarly newlineseed yield recording 1.842 t/ha, 1.978 t/ha and 1.910 t/ha, stover yield recording 6.768 t/ha, newline6.954 t/ha and 6.861 t/ha and harvest index recording 21.33, 22.12 and 21.72 among the newlinegrowth regulators results revealed significant and maximum in both the years are observed in newlinefoliar spray of growth regulators at Gibberellic acid at 50 ppm.
