Abstract
Lithium-ion cells have higher energy density at a specific power, making them a primary
newlinechoice for battery packs in energy storage of modern technology, powering from smartphones
newlineto electric vehicles (EV) and grid-scale energy storage systems. In the absence of effective
newlinethermal management system (TMS), Lithium-ion cells are susceptible to overheating, leading
newlineto reduced performance, accelerated degradation, and safety hazards.
