dc.description.abstractThe social security systems are therefore, among the most critical investment of well-being in workers and their whole family as these provides access to education and vocational training; nutritionand essential commodities to the welfare of the people. Social security is a basic human right which is applicable to every individual irrespective of the work culture. Social security plays a crucial a role to protect the people who are in vulnerable condition and enhance the living standard of employees and their dependents. Every human being is entitled a basic right which is required to sustain the life ie: social security will be extend to all workers, including beedi workers. The beedi workers in India are considered to be a very vulnerable population. it gives lot of employment opportunities in rural areas where the scarcity of employment opportunity prevails. All of these workers are low-income and illiterate. As time has passed, the beedi industry has eventually shifted from organized to unorganized. Therefore, it is critical to understand how unorganized women employees in the beedi industries are considered the country s most vulnerable workforce of human resources. There is difficulty in establishing employer-employee relationship due to the operation of middlemen. Workers are unaware of their rights due to their lack of education. Despite many regulations, conventions, and treaties enacted to safeguard the interests of the working community, even though many human rights breaches prevail in this sector, such as inadequate salaries, an unsanitary working environment, denial of basic health care, and social security programmes. The identity card is the necessary document which gives all the social security benefits to the workers. Employees need to gain knowledge and awareness about social security laws, policies and welfare programmes that have been implemented under labour law. It is important to conduct thorough research on the beedi workers current plight in order to bring about a social transition for the
