Abstract
Optimization is the process of finding feasible solutions with respect to extreme values of one or more objectives. Optimization problems are available in engineering design, decision making, and many other domains. Optimization problems are characterized by an objective function which is a quantitative measure of performance that needs to be minimized or maximized through a set of decision variables. Most of the real world search and optimization problems are multi-objective in nature and they comprise more than one objective function. The real time objectives conflict with each other and optimizing a particular solution with respect to a single objective may not yield acceptable solutions on other objectives. In Multi-objective optimization problem, no single solution exists that simultaneously optimizes each objective. A reasonable method to determine a solution to a multi-objective optimization problem is to investigate a number of trade-off optimal solutions which satisfy the objectives at acceptable levels without being dominated by any other solution
