Copper and zinc based some di and multinuclear complexes synthesis characterization property and reactivity

Abstract

The synthesis, X-ray crystal structure, spectral characterization, magnetic newlineproperties and glycosidase-like activity of dinuclear copper(II) and zinc(II) complexes of newlinea new symmetrical dinucleating ligand have been studied. Employing an anthracenebased newlinenew and#956;-bis(tridentate) ligand, di- and tetranuclear complexes of copper(II) and newlinezinc(II) have been prepared, and their structure, spectroscopic and magnetic properties newlinehave been investigated. The synthesis, X-ray crystal structure, spectroscopic newlinecharacterization and properties such as thermal, magnetic and electrochemical of two new newlinetetranuclear copper(II) complexes with Cu4(and#956;4-PO4) and Cu4(and#956;4-AsO4) cores, and a new newlinestaircase-like decanuclear copper(II) complex have been described. The binding of PO4 newline3- newlineand HAsO4 newline2- anions with a dinuclear zinc complex leading to the formation of two newlinemultinuclear zinc complexes, a and#956;5-PO4 decanuclear zinc metallomacrocycle and a and#956;4- newlineHAsO4 tetranuclear zinc complex, with unique coordination chemistry has been newlineexamined. newline
