Abstract
This work aims to investigate the efficiency enhancement of chlorophyll and organic dye sensitized solar cells. In this work, three chlorophyll based natural dyes of murraya koenigii, plectranthus amboinicus, and coriandrum sativum leaves and evaluated their photovoltaic performance. The dye from plectranthus amboinicus showed better conversion efficiency of 0.46% due to the higher number of chlorophyll units. Two organic triphenylamine based dyes MY-101 and MY-102 were synthesized and characterized using 1HNMR,
newline13C NMR, CHN, and MALDI-TOF- HRMS analysis and their photovoltaic

Although, the conversion efficiencies attained with natural dyes were less compared to the triphenylamine dyes, the studies prove their potential for dye sensitized solar cell applications.
