Bioelectricity Production from Microbial Fuel Cell Using Rumen Fluid Collected from Slaughter House

Abstract

Microbial Fuel Cell (MFC) is a promising technology for the production newlineof sustainable energy. Almost all wastewater and waste have been tried out as the newlineraw material for the energy production under mesophilic conditions. In the present newlinestudy, a mediator-less dual chambered, H-type Microbial fuel cell (MFC) was newlineconstructed for bioelectricity production by using rumen fluid collected from newlineslaughter house. The study has been divided into three major sections. The first newlinesection deals with the construction and fabrication of a simple MFC with an anode newlinechamber filled with Rumen fluid as the fuel or organic matter newline
