| dc.description.abstract | Water is a vital resource that helps in the survival of life on earth. Human health, ecosystem and wealthy economy demands clean and safe water. Maintaining the availability of water and its quality is of great concern. The quality of presently available water is being steadily decreased as there are contaminants like heavy metals. Contamination of arsenic and cadmium in ground water, eventually in drinking water is a universal problem as it is most toxic and carcinogenic to human being.
