Abstract

BACKGROUND: - Ayurveda poses two main aims, maintenance of the health of an individual and curing the ailments of the suffering through holistic approach. The formation of whole living world has been explained by the combination of three pillars of physical body, mind and soul. The physical body has been said to be formed from the basic entities called as three Dosha, seven Dhatu and three Mala. The physical body grows and gets nourished by the intake of food.
