Abstract
Wireless sensor network is a widely used technology in the areas of networking and
newlinecommunication. This sensor based wireless network can be applied in static real time
newlineapplications, whereas the mobility in wireless networks, MANETs has been introduced
newlineto solve most of the crucial problems related to a disaster scenario. But, the data transmission
newlinein the disaster region is a challenging task due to the irregular connections
newlinebetween the sensing devices and the sink. To address this issue an opportunistic networks
newlinewas developed from MANETs. The opportunistic networks is self-organizing in
newlinenature and can easily be deployed in any region. However, there exist numerous routing
newlinechallenges such as communication overhead ratio, packet loss and packet delivery ratio
newlinein movable nodes scenarios.
newlineSeveral conventional routing approaches are exist related to the opportunistic networks.
newlineYet, these conventional routing approach has the drawback of low reliability.
newlineSo, the proposed routing protocol with four modules had been designed for achieving
newlineeffective data transmission in an opportunistic networks. In the first module, the localization
newlineapproach is proposed where the canvas is divided into a grid and contains both
newlineGPS and non-GPS enable nodes. The Cartesian based localization technique usually
newlinefollows four quadrant planes. But, the proposed concept uses only first quadrant to find
newlinethe location of Non-GPS node with vector law of triangle. Then, in the second module,
newlinemobility model of nodes such as pattern mobility and random mobility are discussed.
newlineFor pattern-based mobility prediction, LSTM-RNN technique is proposed and for random
newlinebased mobility, Markov chain model is proposed. In the third module, a neighbour
newlinetable-based relay node selection is proposed by the process of node elimination techniques
newlinesuch as Location based node elimination, Direction based node elimination and
newlineMobility based node elimination for selection of the most suitable relay node for the
newlinepacket transmission. Then, in the last module, Quality of Service
