| dc.description.abstract | Explosive strength is a function of both strength and speed of muscular contraction, Yogic exercises and weight training exercises might have enhanced the health status of players neuromuscular system to apply a greater level of force in a shorter period of time, thereby improved the parameters related to speed and agility. Weight training also placed a high level of stress on joints, connective tissue and in the neuromuscular system, which was well reflected in the present study as revealed by the gain in overall volleyball playing ability. newlineThe researcher thinks that these improvements were due to the application of the recommended yoga training program that led to improve the vital capacity, resting heart rate, resting respiratory rate and diastolic blood pressure. Due to the application of the recommended yoga training programme, the body centre of gravity on the balance beam is elevated. This, in turn, led to improving the technical performance level of acrobatic elements. newline newline | |
