Human Resource is the wealth of Nation. It is one of the most important factors of production of all goods and services. The development of country depends on their human resource. Which country has human resource good, skillful, artificial, personality developed, that country will highly be developed. Its growth rate will be high and Human Development Index will be high, such as USA, Britain, Singapore, Canada etc. newlineIndia has large population, also it s known as youngest country in the world, because of there is 65% population (Human Being) in the age between 15 to 65 years, so India is the youngest country in the world. But that human being required for making them skillful and artificial. newlineEducation makes permanent changes in human being. It has specific aims and objectives as per the need of society or individual person. So the responsibility to provide the education comes to Government. Also the provisions are made in the Indian Constitution. An ancient India had Guru-Kul system of education. At that time education is provided by informally and there were no any systematic or predetermined aims and objectives. Whatever be provided through experience. After that The British introduced the education in India only with the aim by making person for work and to assist them. The modern India so many changes are taken place in the education system. There is a difference between the British Indian education system and modern Indian education system.
