In order to meet the demands of a range of disciplines, including in vitro medical diagnostics, newlinepharmaceutical development, and pathogen detection, next generation biosensor systems must newlinesignificantly improve in sensitivity, specificity, and parallelism. Optical biosensors are utilised to newlinedetect particular light-matter interactions by utilizing a basic refractive index effect. In recent newlineyears, technologies have advanced to the point that it is now possible to identify the situations in newlinewhich they have an inherent advantage over older methods. Recent advancements in two distinct newlineapplication areas have significantly sparked interest in the creation of novel biosensing and high newlinethroughput screening technologies. The vast application field pertains to the requirement to newlinequickly identify contaminants and anomalous impurity concentrations in the sample. Based on newlinehow the light moves through periodic structures known as photonic crystal structures, the newlineoccurrence is explained. Photonic crystals (PhCs) regulate photons in a manner similar to how newlinesemiconductor circuits control electrons. This PhC can function as a cancer cell sensor, newlinebiochemical sensor and other biomedical applications. Particularly the refractive index exhibits newlineperiodicity in them. In a periodic dielectric structure, photonic bands may be permitted or newlineprohibited. It follows that it is possible to permit or prevent the propagation of light for a specific newlinespectrum of frequencies. The voids in the frequency spectrum are therefore referred to as newlinephotonic band gaps (PBGs). Using point and line defects, a PhC-based silicon ring resonator newlinestructure is constructed and analysed in the current work to create a sensor that can be used to newlinedetect various water and blood samples. The structure is also used to create biosensors for a newlinevariety of uses, including the detection of germs and cancer cells. The proposed sensors are newlineanticipated to be crucial in the applications for biomedical system newline
