The t test and analysis of variance were applied to test the hypothesis. These calculations were made on the gain score (post test pre test) in learning outcomes in geography. Result of the study revealed that the group thought through STAD technique was significantly better than the group taught by the traditional method on both learning outcomes and attitude towards Geography. No interaction found between teaching strategies and self-efficacy on the learning outcomes in Geography and also on the attitude towards Geography. newline
