Isolation Characterisation Formulation And Evaluation Of Tumerone Phytosomes From Curucuma Species In The Treatment Of Colon Cancer

Abstract

The World Health Organization (WHO) is encouraging innovations in treating various newlinediseases, including cancer, by repurposing drugs, traditional medicines, and developing new newlinetherapies. Countries like India, with long histories of traditional medicine, are exploring the newlinerole of traditional and complementary treatments for various diseases. The main challenges in newlinephytopharmaceutical development include quality control, identification, and standardization newlineof bioactive compounds. The main focus is on repurposing existing drugs and traditional newlinemedicinal plants.Colorectal cancer (CRC) is an unexplained multiplication of cells in the newlinecolon or rectum, which often begins as a polyp. However, colon cancer can be prevented with newlinescreening and is relatively treatable when found early. Curcuma aromatica, also known as newlinewild turmeric, is widely used as a cosmetic herbal in South Asia and nearby regions. The newlinestudy aims to perform phytochemical and pharmacological studies on volatile oils newlinecomponents obtained from the rhizomes of Curcuma aromatica (C.A) and Curcuma caesia newline(C.C).
