dc.description.abstract	In HPV-mediated cervical cancer, BRN3A has been well recognized as a tumour-promoting cellular newlinetranscription factor. It affects HPV regulation directly moreover its pro-proliferative and antiapoptotic newlineproperties help provide a conducive environment for tumour growth and development. newlineBRN3A is initially identified as a transcription factor that controls the differentiation and regulation newlineof cell-survival of neuronal tissue, however very limited expression is recorded in the cells of nonneuronal newlineorigin. Overexpression of BRN3A in cervical cancer has been associated with upregulation newlineof HPV E6 and E7 expression. Further, during normal and cancerous conditions BRN3A newlineinteracts with several genes, such as BCL2, BCL-XL, BAX, Src, P73, P53, SNAP25, iNOS, JNK, newlineHIPK2, HSP27, HSP90, SNAP25, etc. newline
