Abstract
Head and neck cancer patients often encounter daunting challenges throughout their treatment
newlinejourney, marked by profound psychological and emotional turmoil. Despite the pressing need
newlinefor tailored psychological interventions, the literature review reveals a glaring gap: a dearth of
newlinetherapeutic approaches specifically designed for this demographic. Thus, this study endeavours
newlineto introduce a novel intervention, Positive Therapy, tailored to the unique needs of head and
newlineneck cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy, pre- and post-surgical procedures, and
newlineradiation treatment. This research aims to evaluate the efficacy of Positive Therapy in
newlinemitigating psychological distress and enhancing overall well-being in this vulnerable
newlinepopulation. The objective of this present study is to investigate the psychological constructs of
newlinequality of life, fear of recurrence, and anxiety among head and neck cancer patients with the
newlinehelp of positive therapy.
