Abstract

Head and neck cancer patients often encounter daunting challenges throughout their treatment newlinejourney, marked by profound psychological and emotional turmoil. Despite the pressing need newlinefor tailored psychological interventions, the literature review reveals a glaring gap: a dearth of newlinetherapeutic approaches specifically designed for this demographic. Thus, this study endeavours newlineto introduce a novel intervention, Positive Therapy, tailored to the unique needs of head and newlineneck cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy, pre- and post-surgical procedures, and newlineradiation treatment. This research aims to evaluate the efficacy of Positive Therapy in newlinemitigating psychological distress and enhancing overall well-being in this vulnerable newlinepopulation. The objective of this present study is to investigate the psychological constructs of newlinequality of life, fear of recurrence, and anxiety among head and neck cancer patients with the newlinehelp of positive therapy. newline
