The present research entitled as and#8213;Synthesis of Functionalized Heterocycles and Studies towards Diverse Properties with Theoretical Interpretationsand#8214; focused on synthesis of some new molecules and exploration of their properties. There are six chapters in this thesis. An overview is provided in the first chapter. Three new compounds along with their different properties are represented by the chapters 3, 4, and 5. The sixth chapter carries the overall conclusion, while the seventh chapter provides summary and future possibilities. newlineOrganic chemistry is the branch of chemistry that focuses on the unique properties of carbon atoms and their molecules. These substances are useful in a number of disciplines, including physics, biology, ecology, earth science, geology, and chemistry. Because organic compounds are present in all of our everyday items paper, clothing, food, paint, ink, perfumes, rubber, medications, etc. it is incredibly practical and relatable to our daily lives. Organic chemistry is receiving interest in a variety of sectors, including pharmaceuticals, molecular biology, agriculture, and advanced electronics. The first chapter dealt with the general introduction regarding different heterocyclic molecules. Among them dihydropyridine and azaindole based compounds have been discussed in detail covering their synthesis routes and applications. This chapter presents the structures of several compounds along with their uses. The research objectives were also thoroughly explored. Chapter 2 represents the design of a new calcium channel blocker and subsequent synthesis, characterization. People of all nationalities and social classes are now affected by the growing issue of hypertension. Over time, there has been a consistent rise in the fatality rate. A range of therapeutic compounds, on the other hand, are often used to handle hypertension .The objectives of this study are firstly to design potential antihypertensive drugs based on the DHP scaffold, secondly, to analyse drug-likeness properties of the
