newlineThe Research work aims to discuss about the techniques and also hidden history, literature, techniques which are expressed through the body which acts as vechile leading towards salvation in Bharathanatyam and Andhranatyam. The researcher assert that there is a fundamental differences between Bharathanatyam and Andhranatyam and thus this differences is the ability to achieve technique. Once the performer becomes the expect, the artist leads the observer towards bliss. The comparative study of Bharathanatyam and Andhranatyam is the timelessness of any art which is entirely depends on the cultural values of prevailing society. When the values of the artform is conversed then the act lives forever. Because Andhranatyam got recognized by many devadasis at Rajamundry organized by Late Dr. Nataraja Ramakrishna in the year 1970. The art lives forever in India as the telugu speaking people passes their cultural values from generation to generation through epics and vedas. Both Tamil and Telugu literature were enriched with Indian philosophies and mythologies and portrayed with every possible human experience and emotion. During the East India Company rule in India, the lasya dance of Andhra was almost died due to the rulers disrespect towards cultural and traditional values, but Andhranatyam was revived soon after the Independence. India has a great tradition of narrativity. The fifth veda was Natyaveda written by Bharatha Muni to simplify the essence of four vedas (Samveda, Yajurveda, Atharvaveda and Rigveda) which leads to the understanding of philosophies of life by the research work is to narration of stories from the literatures, Epics, puranas, slokas, mythology etc. Hence, To learn into a new classical dance form, you must first learn the fundamentals of adavus and dance theory of that particular dance form.
