Lightweight materials have gained global significance by newlinevisualizing the higher attention to energy saving, analysis, and associated newlinedevelopment. The lower mass density of the Magnesium (Mg) and its alloys newlinehave made it greatly possible to be applied potentially in modern industries. newlineMg despite being a target light metal in the industries of transportation, the newlinelow strength and ductility have narrowed down its application. Hence, there newlinearises a need as well as demand for the improvement of its strength and newlineductility by improvising the existing alloys and composite materials of newlinetraditional origin to meet the present scientific advancements. Provided newlineenrichment of further reinforcements to Mg alloy iterates in the upgrading of newlinemechanical properties, better thermal properties, and various other principal newlinecharacteristics in order to raise its applications. Many highly commented newlinereviews of the prevailing literature outwit minimizing the strengthening size newlinemakes possible to better results for any kind of Metal Matrix composite newline(MMC). newlineThe research paper reports the mechanical and tribological newlinecharacteristics of magnesium (AZ91) that has been reinforced with reduced newlineGraphene Oxide (r-GO) and hexagonal Boron Nitride (hBN). By the influence newlineof reinforcing r-GO and hBN, the mechanical and tribological characteristics newlineare evaluated. In Powder metallurgy process, the process parameters such as newlinecompacting pressure, Sintering temperature and r-GO are considered for the newlineinvestigational study on output characteristics such as hardness, specific wear newlinerate (SWR), coefficient of friction (CoF) and tensile strength. In this research newlinestudy Graphene Oxide (r-GO) considered with varying weight proportions newline0.2%, 0.35% and 0.5%, and hexagonal Boron Nitride (hBN) kept as 1 % newlineconstant for the fabricated composites newline
