dc.description.abstractCloud computing is a continuously evolving technology that has the potential to enhance agility availability collaboration and scalability The technology provides different ways of cost reduction techniques through optimization and efficiency in computing Cloud supports different types of deployment models such as public private and hybrid. In public cloud the infrastructure is managed by third party provider in private cloud the infrastructure is managed by the organization themselves and in hybrid cloud the infrastructure is managed by both third party provider as well as the organization In all the three deployment models cloud supports multi tenancy which means that the same application or resource can be used by multiple consumers belonging to same or different organizations In Infrastructure as a Service IaaS of public cloud model the consumers of different business entities having different Service Level Agreements SLA governance security and billing policies shares the same infrastructure IaaS provides consumers the possibility to dynamically allocate the computing capabilities such as processing network and storage IaaS also provides different storage options such as raw volume object and content delivery network Object storage is also referred to as file storage where files are stored andaccessed via Application Program Interfaces APIs or Web interfaces newline newline
