Friction Stir Processing (FSP) is a prominent method to enhance newlinethe mechanical characteristics and to reform the microstructure in the selected newlinezones of the parent material. The FSP follows the theory of friction stir newlinewelding. The FSP normally proves and avoids the defects like voids and newlinediminishes the sizes of the grain development in the intermetallic region of newlinethe lightweight aluminium alloys. Lightweight aluminium alloys are in high newlinedemand in various manufacturing sectors like, navy, aerospace and other newlineautomotive related units. Sectors like automotive generally demands parts newlinewhich are light in weight to attain maximum performance In FSP, lightweight newlinealuminum alloys are a pleasing material, which exhibits greater design newlineflexibility and minimized weight. Owing to its attractive benefits such as low newlinedensity, high wear and corrosion resistance, improved strength-to-weight ratio newlineAluminum alloy AA6082 has been considered as primary material in this newlinestudy. In FSP, several reinforcing particles including graphene, titanium newlinecarbide, silicon carbide and TiO2 were used in conjunction with AA6082 newlinealloy. There is very insufficient work was executed in the chromium carbide newlineparticulates. Because, the chromium carbide is hardened material which newlineshows the better maintained maximum temperatures, maximum corrosion newlineresistances and improved mechanical attributes. The current work produces newlineholes in the selected parent material and chromium carbide particles have newlinebeen added as reinforcement in the prepared holes through FSP technique. newlineIn this research, there are three different FSP processing parameters newlinelike tool spinning speed, tool traverse speed and axial load was utilized to newlineperform the FSP with hardened material of chromium carbide particulates newline
