Abstract
newline The experimental material comprising 40 genotypes of pigeonpea encompassing 15 B lines, 15 R lines, 5 wilt resistance and 5 wilt susceptible genotypes. Ten different Fussarium udum isolates were collected from different parts of Gujarat.
newlineThe OPA primer series grouped the 40 genotypes in two major clusters with similarity index data indicating more genetic similarity (0.8653) between wilt resistance genotype ICP 8863 and GTR 53 as compared to other B and R lines. On the other hand CMS GT 505B line was found more similar to all the five wilt susceptible genotypes. The average polymorphism was found to be 71.87 per cent and polymorphic information content ranged from 0.71 to 0.88. The goodness of fit of clustering of OPA primer series was appropriate.
