Abstract

This research work focuses on designing and testing channel newlineassignment algorithms for Time division Duplex TDD Wideband Code newlineDivision Multiple Access WCDMA and Multihop Cellular Networks newlineMCNs The various algorithms proposed in this research work have newlineimproved the performance of the TDD WCDMA MCNs The simulated newlineresults subsequently have shown the quite improved multihop cellular newlinenetworks performance newlineThis research work concentrates on developing an Enhanced newlineChannel Assignment Algorithm ECAA for TDD WCDMA MCNs related to newlinethe consideration of mobile nodes relaying points while assigning channel newlineThe ECAA algorithm has offered a better quality of service in the MCNs due newlineto improved channel assignments and reduced channel conflicts Simulations newlinetests are carried out to validate the theoretical proposition of algorithms using newlinesimulator and it has given a higher throughput newline newline
